It's on the first page of the new goauto e-magazine in the captiva article. Don't know if this has been posted before.

They say the can confirm that the Adventra will be withdrawn from the market December 2006.
I don't think there will be a VE 4wd wagon...

I figured that when they announced the Captiva.

Damn shame because the Captiva is still missing a few things the Adventras got underneath.

I would have bought a VE Adventra - honestly...

A very much doubt a Captiva will be the replacement for mine next year. Maybe another X5 (new model), Merc ML or Audi Q7. Yes, they are more $ but just what else is there ? (don't mention the Terratree with that tacky dash, horrible interior colour and huge fuel appetite).

The Adventra was a good, well equipped, spacious wagon that didn't cost a fortune. Mine does get used a bit on gravel and limited off road. It was great for my purposes...

Captiva 3.2L V6 and 2.0L diesel
Trailblazer V6 and 3L V6 VM Motori diesel
and Tahoe V8 and appropriate small V8 common-rail diesel for our market

utes: Commodore, Crewman, Rodeo, Silverado 2500 and 3500

Fords should be
Escape 3L V6 and 2.4L Duratorq diesel
Territory 4L I6 and 2.7L twin-turbo diesel
Expedition with 5.4L V8 and 4.4L V8 twin-turbo diesel

utes: Falcon, Ranger, F250, F350, F450
