Hey Team,

I am trying to put together a private Collie track day on the 18th November 2006. We are looking to hire out the entire venue for the day.

The format is basically a test/tune/training day. Cost will be $125ea if we get the intended 20 participants for a full day on the track. Numbers are being kept low to ensure max track time. No CAMS license is required as we will be running under their insurance so just a current drivers license is all you need to participate. Will be runnning varied sessions all day. Driver trainers will be on hand. Will be more track time than you can poke a stick at. Also some passenger laps if we behave. Will just need to have basic car track prep attended to. (1kg fire extinguisher in car)

Also plannning to stay down in town on the Saturday night and have a bit of a night out and make a weekend of it.

This was an awesome day. Well organized, with more track time than you can poke a stick at.

The only down side was that there was only 3 LS1's there against the usual evo/wrx crowd.

If anybody even thinks they might be intersted in driving in one of these events, when the next one comes along have a go, they are quite cheap and no cams licence is required.

was there a car with the plates BLOWN R8 there? i saw it on a trailer and also saw it driving around in perth today......sounded like a 747:O
the 600 badges were a nice touch i thought...lol

Nope. The only LS1's there were 2 SS utes and one Maloo.
