Just wondering how many of you have ran your bikes down the 1/4 (like to say I am planning to but so hard finding the time being in Newcastle).
Bikes, times and mods would be good.

With everything going on, if you don't hear from me, punch me a PM.

Damn! They are some pretty quick times for stock bikes.
Raptors supposed to be good for a 11.1 stock so I'm hoping to get into the 10's with my mods.

You should get a 10 out of the Raptor, the problem with bikes is keeping the front down. If you could nail 1st and 2nd a 9 would be easy on most litre bikes....

i pulled a best of 10.624 on my 2006 GSXR1000 with 20,000kms a couple of months back. i did 8 runs, my worst was a 10.9.
probably need a new clutch to get the times like they get in the magazine tests. the gurus are pulling clutches out after each run for inspection and replace any plates that show evidence of hot spots.

Current 2010 Offset firing order R1 with pipe and power commander on michelins at WSID 10:16 @ 138. Watch out though, street bikes cant run chutes yet if they go too quick they'll ban you.
If you show up to WSID with a 9 sec street bike you'll get banned.

Yah you have to run over 9.0 seconds.
I saw a guy pull 8.9 a few weeks ago and he got told to pack it up.
But it was by no means a street bike - it was a custom drag bike with turbo, long swingarm etc.
I bought a 2008 ZX10R and got a 10.4 so 2/10ths quicker than the GSXR! I need to lose a little weight......104kg plus riding gear at the moment.
10.16 is a good time Karma!!!
Maybe we need to have a LS1 drag challenge? Wednesday before chrissy?
