servicing in melb??

Evening all,

Just after some advice / referral for general servicing in south east melb?

Betty is due for 80,000 km sevice. Have been using a few different garages for servicing and thought that I should start seeing someone who specializes in ls1s.

Have heard about APS and G and D Performance, and know that they both have a great rep. for building performance cars and mods etc, but am unsure about whether they do general servicing.

Would appreciate any advice / shared experiences for a good value log book service.

I know the guys at APS pretty well and can vouch that they do excelent work and have a huge list of happy customers.
There buisness was built on servicing and later incorporated performance tuning, LPG fitment etc etc.
Do yourself a favour and take the time to stop in and see what they can offer and how they are set up and the equipment they have.

I am very happy with the work G&D have done on my car, as is everyone I know of personally who've had work done there. However, with all three LS1s I've had (none more than two years from new) I still have the dealer do my servicing in order to (try to?) keep in sweet with them in case of warranty issues given the mods on the cars.

I'm sure G&D would do an excellent job on standard servicing and unlike many other places you can leave it there safe in the knowledge that no apprentice or other dickhead is going to take it out and give it a hard time to "see what it can do".......
