How hard are they to fit? Is it a straight bolt on to existing mounts? Its like for my turtle shell to disapear I think

Its four nuts you undo pull your turtle shell of and put the new ones on and tighten the nuts back up (a blonde could do it) job well done and looks the part.
Cheers

you need to pull the rubber & metal plugs off the underside of the turtle shell, put these over the bolts, put the new covers on, and put the nuts on. very easy and a great improvement. only problem was i have a magnefine filter fitted just after the power steering reservoir so the cover hits it a bit. nothing major though. not my birthday til the end of the month, but she got sick of me asking how far off they were (shipped from american auto parts in NSW). it really is filthy though, its hard to get motivated to wash it when you cant drive it (6 month holiday from driving, 150km/h in a 100 zone-not in my car, was in a rental pulsar, so i had to flog it)

That`s the problem with rental cars, the speedos never read right :up2sum: and there`s no such thing as speed humps.
P.S . Nice present and cheers for your birthday.
P.S.S. Does your girlfriend have a sister. Errrr I just remembered I`m married.:banghead:
haha exactly. im not worried about admitting it on the forum, what are they gonna do, suspend my license? nah seriously i did the wrong thing and paid the price for it, ive learnt my lesson (save it for the track-in a real car-next time).
