I LOVE GTS-R's!! They are a bit like the Walkinshaw - You love it or you hate it, and I love both of 'em.

Thanks Carby!.. The non blueprinted #61 signed by P. Brock himself is around mid to low 40k range and the blueprinted HRT optimised machine is near top end of 40K.. #15

Yeah great pics, and I wouldnt mind having one in the garage, but I think they should have used slightly different bodykit for these cars. Perhaps a job for someone with the photoshop skills???
Black rims with a touch of red :woot:

Makes me appreciate how far they have come in the last 10yrs. I wouldn't pay half that for one :hide: It's still a tarted up 10yr old Commodore...great pics nonetheless.

Yep they should have done more to em, but I had a mate who got his supercharged with the first setup of type from APS (Peter Luxon) in melbourne.

And also the one Bill lee did with the twin throttles, thats atleast how they should of come.

Excellent photo's also.

DEFINATELY!! My Senator (which had the last HRT engine) would have really boogied with the Group A twins!!:woot: :woot:

Sam Davis (Hsv's Engine man) said they ran one with twin throttles and it made 300 fwkw with bags of torque everywhere.....he was quite dissapointed they didn't get the chance to go that little bit further R and D - wise before the emergence of the LS1.

A bit more compression (was only 8.85:1) and tuning - who knows??

Pity, another what if in Australian motoring history........

might be collectable..

but IMHO.. the ugliest thing Holden has ever dared to release.. I truly would be embarrassed to ride in one..

I remember drooling over one of these when I first saw it in the showroom.

I must admit, they look a bit retro now.

But the big question....what type of camera took these pics???They are great!!!

Thanks guys :D.. the Camera atm is the Canon EOS 300D DSLR 6.3mp!.. .. you will find taking the pic on the right angle with the right lense and filter if necessary is only half of a great pic. the other half is editing it! .. all the pros use pshop these days to come to their final image :)

A car built that late, no cd player, no climate, no HSV logo on the steering wheel, i can't stand VS/VR interior, love the outside though, You'll notice 90% of the VS/VR's on carsales don't have internal pics up, just the outside.

Heya Justin, thanks on the kind words ;).

with the 300D I only have my 18-55 EFS lense for the close ups and 90-300 telephoto for the longer range shots.. also just have the UV and circular polariser filters..

I've just picked up a brand new 400D 10.5mp canon DSLR yesterday so getting used to that now.. 300D has been sold and is going to a good home this saturday!.. Definately going to get a Battery grip for the 400D and an extra battery though.. also lookking at some fisheye lenses for those really cool looking closeups and wide angled shots :)
