This is probably best directed to forum sponsor Sureflo but I can do my best to answer.
I've had quotes from $400 to around $700. Not sure of brands. From what I've read on the boards the power gain isn't very much. Again from what I've read on the boards they can improve the note on your car. The hi flow cats have bigger 'holes' so they improve flow.
Hopefully that helped a little.

They are great value for money IMO, and yeah you get a few more KW's out of them. I however haven't dyno'd my car in ages but since last dyno run and recent with new high flow cats I got a 8rwkw gain... Note is improved especially top end and stock cats on mine were starting to go bad, thus not a bad time to upgrade. You have to make sure that you get stainless cats internal and external as the ls1's run a rich fuel mixture post edit... Cost for around $550 for the pair installed wasn't a bad mod imo....

Tez,
Jeez, where'd you get stainless internal cats fitted for only $550? Most places want over $300 each supply only! Assume fitting on your car is easy compared to mine as your cats are down low? I also thought LS1s ran rich from the factory and that an edit leaned them out a bit?

i originally fitted a 4 inch magic cat, with 3.25 inch inlet/outlet and 4 inch body... worked a treat. Then i had an accident and the repair shop fitted a different cat, which i now believe is a 3.5 inch metal cat which is also pretty good thus far. Both cats sell for around $300, cost for fitting was $250 but thats because the exhaust shop had to create new Y pieces for the dual exhaust.
I know my car isn't an LS1, but thought i'd give an idea of the prices i got.
tuffcarparts has 2.5inch hi-flow metal cats for $220 from memory, www.tuffcarparts.com theyre on my wish list! doesnt include fitting or cat pipes obviously.
