I'm looking for a broken 10 CD Stacker that was part of the Maestro 260 Sound system used in VT/VX Calais/Statesman and others.

It was also the stacker used in VR/VS Statesmans and Caprices.

I have advertised in the Classifieds, but am not getting any bites. I figured someone might have one that they'd let go cheap. (Sorry if the cross promotion is frowned upon mods - delete if you deem necessary).
Basically i've buggered something up and ripped a cable in half inside the unit. :fewl:

I have sourced a replacement part direct from Eurovox, but its so expensive, that I thought if someone's got a broken stacker, I might be able to raid it for parts.

Let me know :D

They pop up in ebay occasionally. I was looking for one a few weeks ago and there were a couple in ebay. Fortunately I was able to fix mine myself.

yeah, have been watching a few, but the prices reflect most often the working head unit that is also included :(

oh, and Holden Man ... I printed out your cable, but it didnt work ... I even printed it in colour, but it wasnt any good :(

If at the end of the day you have no success, I'd would carefully bare back the plastic coating and solder the copper back together and encase it in resin to protect it.

I reckon it could be done.

I got one here....perzactly what you are looking for, from a VX GTS.
It's fully intact but does the old E99 when powered.

Why not use an IDE cable and solder it.

VX-300 : The E99 can be reset from the headunit. Its in the manual
