Guys I need some quick help on this. My trannie is about to get a rebuild. The trans builder wants me to re stall my convertor to about 27-2800. For a lesser cost I can pick up a s/hand dominator 3000 stall. My car is running a vortech blower, no cam 3.73's. The trans builder was very much for getting my stall re done and didn't like the dominator or yank convertors. My car is a daily driver and will see the strip occasionally.
Question is what size stall ?is 3000 too much for non cam'd but supercharged?

"" "" Re stalled standard or run the dominator

Can some one help with this as Im running out of time

Cheers
Rob

Who is building the auto? if you can find out if he is using a TCT or TCE re stalled converter I may be able to provide a recomendation as I worked for one of them I know what they do.

Ask user "DademOn" what he thinks about second hand converters. I suppose it's OK if you know exactly where it is coming from. In my limited experience, I would have thought that 2800-3000 would be ideal.

Umm I dont know its history. Its from a forum member here. Apparently he's getting a bigger turbo fitted and going to a standard stall covertor. Is it ok to say whom Im buying it from?
