hi all done the job today, signed up for ve clubby {blackbetty2}to replace vx clubby {blackbetty1}which I painfully sold last tuesday. sooked for a week, but feel a bit better know. drove a SS a month ago, then a gts 2 weeks ago, today they gave me a clubby for a couple of hours. had a extra gear stick for a while there. manual with leather coming early december, will post piccys when on showroom floor. first thing going on is big exhaust, so I will need some help from you guys as to which type to get. ran pacemakers with 2.5 cross twin with straight through mufflers in centre only, was nice. but not sure this time around, people seem to be going 3.5 inch, all help will be welcomed, cheers marcus!!!:driving:

I thought you were talking about buying the car...........haven't heard the exhaust yet so I can't comment.

I still have another week before the sale of my house is finalised and as soon as it is a deposit is going down on white E series R8.
I know if I go down for a look I'll put money down before the house sale goes through..........days feel like weeks at the moment.

wow me & lethal66 agree on something regarding ordering car, I signed for mine cup day black manual with leather, will get it 10 dec. insurance $762.29 CGU. got my car through colin watson traralgon, no one in city could match the deal, hope this helps you~~~~~~~~~

:hmmm: Then why are people being quoted February / March delivery dates for orders placed now ???

AFAIK there still have not been any HSV deliveries with the sunroof, when they get it right there will be a whole batch of them, mine included. Should be late this month ... I hope !!!

I think you will be pushing to get a HSV with sunroof before XMAS,if you ordered today. Sure they will take your deposit,but they have a million excuses up there sleeve, if it doesn`t arrive (XMAS rush,supply problems etc).

If you really want one,you have to place an order and it will go down the production line in due course. A factory order takes six weeks with everything going to schedule.We are six weeks from Xmas now,so I wouldn`t count on it.:cussing:

Sif order a car in sept and still havent got it yet all because of a sunroof.I find it very hard to beleive

If you dont want to many options, my dealer contact not only beat everyone i spoke to, she has stock, and just ordered up a heap of stock. Ordered last week, pick up saturday morning :D
