Is it just my set or the lugs in the car that doesn't line up with the carpet mats?

Got the standard carpet mats when the VE was ordered and the missus noticed the mats were a bit crumpled. The mat hooks doen't line up with the lugs in the floor. Spewing!

Anyone else here have the same issue for the VE with carpet mats from Holden?

There is a thread somewhere on the forum a few weeks ago where heaps of people seemed to have issue with Holden mats (mainly wear rate not so much the lugs)!!

Sorry, maybe I'm misunderstanding the problem or maybe the VE mats are different from VZ SS mats but on mine the whole set up is totally flexible. I've had two VZ SS's and watched as the guy put the mats in each - he just worked out where the mats in the front had to go then just pushed the locating lugs into/through the original carpet by just pressing hard on them with his Phillips head screwdriver. If something doesn't line up you should be able to just pull the locating lugs out and reposition them.

Did you get the VE mats or the VY/VZ mats?

For some stupid reason Holden show the VY/VZ style mats on their website aswell as the VE ones in the VE build a car pages, I spoke to a dealer yesterday and he says there is only 1 type for the VE, that being the new ones.

If you got the VE ones take them back

Im guessing they have sold you the old style.

There are more that one Type of mats.

Standard Mats in Onyx
Luxury Mats in Onyx
SS Mats in Onyx
SS Mats in Redhot
SS Mats in Ignition

Then there are also the Mats that come for free in the Calais V which are in either Onyx or Light Urban

the various VZ SV6es we had, and our VZ Adventra have a known problem.

There is 1 central mounting point on the floor for mats, yet the mats come with 2 holes and a set of those plastic lock tab things.

Apparantly it was a communication breakdown between Holden and the mat supplier??

Thanks Sly - Purchased through fleet - assumed that they would have ordered the VE ones. Certainly will question it.
