You gotta wonder what people try and sell on ebay.

Both links are for VE stuff. The first is for a brand new set of SSV wheels and tyres. Reading on and I note the tyres are nankang's - as far as I am aware all VE Commodores wear Bridgestones. To be fair to the seller - he doesn't stipulate the tyres are original.

The second link made me chuckle - you can bid on and buy - wait for it - a commodore brocheur!!. Now unless I'm mistaken - a trip to my local dealer or even an internet download would furnish me with the same goods.

The only time id ever buy a brouchure off ebay is if Im looking at buying a second hand car, eg VX.

As for current model though, Holden will even post it out to you with a sticker if you ask nicely :driving:

The guy selling the wheels seems to run an Ebay business. So no suprise that he is flogging the wheels without the oem tyres.

Since Ebay is a global site, it would be a bit hard to walk into a dealer in downtown Russia to pickup a Holden sales Brochure.

Even worse though was the guy trying to sell the Heralds Cars Guide that had a write up on the VE GTS from a couple oif weeks ago, starting bid was 99c

Yes they can have the cente machined to fit earlier models So obviuosly this seller has done just that. Even Holmart forum sponsor sell them to suit VR-VZ

went to buy new tyres yesterday, them nangkangs are actually 380 a tyre, as to the kuhmo's were 330. i had the ns2 on mine and there a decent tyre.

as for the brochures, a mate does it also, get a lot of international buyers. money is there to be made so why not :thumbsup:
