Have a listen to a SUREFLOW OTRCAI..... It sounds the goods and works extremely well.

have a look at the K&N 63 range (KN63-305 for vz ss) sounds soooo good and no need to have a mafless tune!

Depends on how many $$$ you have to spend.
The second hole mod - together with an improved MAF pipe, will set you back about $200-. You will get a good induction roar, improved throttle response down low & mid range - but not a huge gain up top
An OTRCAI will cost around $500- (but some do not fit onto a maffed car). You will get a really nice induction roar & good throttle response through the entire rev range - especially up high. The filters on the OTRCAI do seem to need cleaning a lot more regularly.

Ive found a OTR (over the radiator cold air intake) and a 84mm throttle body, give a nice induction roar.

A cam change does wonders too .... :yahoo:

Thanks heaps for your help, havent got heaps of money to spend just yet still saving, just after a little bit more punch down low, the under size pully for them is that something that will work havent heard much about them and are they a good mod to do?

Ive done the 25% udp at the same time as my cam change, so i cant tell you how much difference it made. I however did like how the throttle body changed the snappiness of the throttle.

Keen an eye out on the for sale section in the forum, and pick up these items as they pop up. Can save you some money :)

I've just installed a new SS Inductions - Growler Kit on my VZ 6.0L SS Ute. Sounds unbelievable and gives it a mean growl under acceleration, and will only cost you somewhere around $500.

Summed what up nicely?

For a cheap mod that doesn't void warranty, I'm more than happy with it.

I've heard mixed reports, some people love and some don't.

I wanted something that would give me a better induction sound and wasn't to concerned about the power gains (even though, I've noticed a positive difference). Considering I got a very low price on it I said why not (anything should be better than the standard airbox), as I've said I'm more than happy with the results.

Just giving my feedback and experiences.
