Its that time of the month when the team at HP-F gives an update on what’s been going on in our world for the last month. We’ve been flat out!!! Some of our projects have completed stages and others (our in house projects) have been put on the back burners whilst we work on customer’s cars. Here’s a run down on what’s been happening.

OZIGTO – haven’t touched it for the whole month. All the parts are here just need more hours in a day to get it together.

Twin Turbo GT – The TTGT has spent the month running in its rebuilt engine. Charles took it for a drive to Heathcote for the Ford nationals and decided to give it a few runs. Still utilising the run in tune and in real full street trim including pump fuel and worn-out tyres the car ran 12.1@123mph This was better than we had expected for this tune and we were surprised with the 32mph gain from half track.
We’ll be refining the tune and then heading back to the track with a proper drag set up. We’re hoping for low 11’s.

VE Turbo (G4S package) – The VE is being stripped down so the turbo kit can be fabricated. Once this has been done the car will be set up for road duties. We’re happy with the G4S kit and it will be available soon.

New brakes on the VE Turbo to help slow it down.

Goldbullet – Dave’s Goldbullet also ventured to the Ford nationals. We ran a couple of mid 10’s with a best of 10.58@130mph. This puts Dave’s car at #4 on the list of all time fastest XR6Turbo’s. The car had a few gremlins at the end of the day which we are looking for now. Once sorted we’ll loose a bit of weight, mainly with brakes and wheels and head back to the track lows 10’s will be the first target.

BLO402 – Gary’s VX is being prepared for this years SummerNats. We’re building a new engine with a new turbo setup. This is progressing nicely.

Tryhrd - We’ve been doing some more testing and once finished we’ll be freshening the engine also for SummerNats. This thing sound amazing in the dyno room and makes you feel like the whole workshop is moving.

Turbo Territory F1 - Our TT F1 is now completed and after refining the tune over the last few months we’re finally happy with the results. At The Ford Nationals the TT F1 managed a 13.94@100mph this in full street trim with 22” wheels and with a 25kmph head wind. We wanted the tune to be able to run 13’s and after the weekend we’re confidant of this.
We’re offering a special forum price of $1295 for a 2-tune edit including the CAPA flash box. To get this price make sure to mention the forum.

Our 13 second tow car.

STI - This is a 2.5lt conversion with a garret turbo. The car is for club racing and has 265kw at all 4 wheels.

HPF XR8 Ute - Hasn’t been touch for the whole month, same reasons as Project OZIGTO.

2001 Mustang - This car is being fitted with a procharger kit. It should make around 300rwkw, which would make it a nice ride.

You should mention that the turbo territory raced exactly as it towed the goldbullet to heathcote, just unhitched the trailer and raced :D
