Would anyone know of someone or 1 of the sponsors that do guard rolling in syd? Roughly how long it takes for the process, within the day or? Also how much is it per corner ?

Cheers,
Rob.

not sure of any of the sponsors ... but
My Sydney guard rolling experience (http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/showpost.php?p=664468&postcount=10)

got my guards rolled at Tempe Tyres last thursday. Cost was $40 a corner.
On the phone when i asked how much, he asked whether i had been quoted anywhere else. I said No, so he said $40 per arch.
When I got there, someone else asked me whether i had been quoted a price, and how much. I said $40 ... he said "no worries".
I'm thinking I could have easily said $35 (maybe even less) and he wouldn't have thought anything suspicious.

Anyone know a competent shop in Newcastle for guard rolling? Also is there any chance of something going wrong such as cracking paint? Cheers

you need to warm the paint with a hair dryer or similar otherwise it's easy to crack the paint.

There is a big chance of the paint cracking. Ask them if they cover repairs of cracks ( doubtful ) otherwisw it is safer just to go to a panel beater

So I take it there is a price difference with going to a panel beater. Has anyone had a bad guard rolling experience like this.

If the tyre shop cracks the paint you will have to go to a panel beater to get it fixed. It makes it a one stop job if you just go straight to the panelbeater.
