Historical race meet - Sandown

Hey all,

Just letting you know there's an historical meet on at Sandown this weekend.

I'll be heading down to see the Porsche 962 in action, not something you see everyday!

Yeah i attended, awesome day, some great cars and displays. Watched a friend race his Brabham. There was a 427 big gblock corvette, awesome, just pulled in the straights. Saw Chev and some other mates, so overall a great day was had.

I didn't get there until late in the afternoon, but saw some good racing, and some beautiful cars. The 935 was something to behold...

Camaro was orsome. Pulled away big time from the GT up the back straight. The Formula 5000 cars were a great sight. Those 5 litre chevs with Lucas mechanical fuel injection like to rev. They were Aust F1 back between 1969-1979. (probably before a lot of your guys times):lmao:
