I have booked Wakefield Park for Private Practice in my new car next friday. As I will not be using the whole track all day due to setup changes etc, I have available up to 10 spots for anyone that wants to come along and have a run on the circuit. This is similar to the no limit days except you can run all day long without interuptions as it is one big session, not 1, 20min session per hour. There will be a few brute utes attending the day as well. Will be staying in goulburn thursday night ready to run by 9.am friday.

Cost $100 per car + your wakefield licence if you dont have one

If you are interested post here or Pm me

Would it be stupid to take a brand spanking new R8 for the day? I should wait till its run in right? It will have about 800Km on the clock by next friday i would think...

Do an oil change before you go down and don't keep it at red line all day ... it'll be fine.

As nicks said, change the oil then drive the wheels of it. The harder you run it in the harder it will go. The first 20 miles are the most important. Flogg it in the first 20 and the rings will always bed in better.

Engine dont run in, they run out. Engines going on a dyno are run to their full potential straight out of the engine room. No different in the car.

Matt Hunt will also be bringing his VS Supercar along. I will ask if he can do some rides.
