New Hsv engine for late 07 early 08?

I was talking to a guy I work with and he was saying tht the word thru the HSV owners club is that the new 'big engine' would be the ls7. I thought it had been deemed too expensive and chev/Hsv were working on FI.

So has anyone got any news?
