Hey guys, just happened last nite.. Was driving the ute pretty hard for a short time then when i went to go change into gears (normally) it was grinding into gears... I still have the stock clutch atm with edit, 3.9s, RIPshifter, OTRCAI, 222/224 cam etc etc making 257rwkw... But just wondering if its definately the clutch??

It feels a little softer then usual but still goes into gear ok just with the grinding noise...
Any ideas??

Probably mate. My clutch was slipping a bit and felt real soggy so its in now getting a Textralia.......and a harrop diff cover......
Stock clutches are shite, even with stock power.

if clutch feel is softer you may be leaking fluid from somewhere in the line or your slave cylinder could be shot, check the fluid level and give it a bleed.

if its still bad change the slave and while your box is out maybe a new clutch (tex) could be an option.

Yeh mate im going to be putting in a "Z" Grip Tex with Billet Flywheel and braided lines in the next week or so when the Twin Turbo is finished being fitted...
Just curious to know what it was as its the first time a clutch has gone on me in a manual car..

Thanks guys

never had grinding from dud clutch, usually slip like hell and lose all drive, also had a clutch plate shatter.
