Pre purchase inspection in Melbourne

I'm looking at buying a Supercharged LS1 Calais from Melb (I'm in QLD) And considering buying it sight unseen, Can anyone recommend a shop (preferably performance based) to check out the vehicle thoroughly before i hand over the cash?

It's a LS1 with 114,000km, making 317rwkw, with a Harrop supercharger.

from memory I think i remember hearing that APS also do pre purchase inspections on their phone waiting add thing (when i was on hold on the phone to them) Also my work in Hastings does them, the boss does it and he is very stringent so thats another choice aswell... Dont know where donvale is tho so both my work and APS may be too far south for that...

F1 performance in Blackburn would be the closest to Donvale only 10 mins from Donvale. Not sure whether they do pre-purchase inspecions or not.

Autotechnique in Rowville are about 20 minutes from Donvale.
They have good knowledge of the LS112 supercharger kit.

Ask who did the LS112 kit installation, as they may have historical knowledge of the car.

would it be a good idea to take it to a workshop that didn't install the supercharger? that way they won't just say it is fine, because it is their product.
