We have started getting quotes on AH astra wagons, and one dealership said that the cargo net is necessary.

Im not exactly sure what it is to be honest, is it one of those steel things that is fixed onto the car, or is it more of a soft net to sit in the boot?

also, is it necessary? Im buying the wagon for my drums, so i will be carrying more than just shopping parcels

I'm not sure what the a cargo net is? the steel ones are usually referred to as barriers so it sounds like its probably a soft one.

My personal opinion is they are a must in a wagon if you are going to carry lots of stuff, it could be the difference between you thinking phew that was close and wearing a drum for a hat when some one decides to brake test the Astra..
