Hey guys,
Got a nice surprise in the mail today. As I am a member of the HSV frequent buyers club I received a complimentary copy of a new DVD.
It covers the complete HSV journey from THE VL Walky through to the current VE series.
Runs for 82 minutes and apparently will be available to the public later this week. The title is The HSV Story and features a VL Walkinshaw and a silver VE GTS on the cover. Recommended retail $24.95.
So keep an eye out as it is a very worthwhile purchase for all the HSV freaks out there.
Happy Cruizin.

Got my free copy in the mail yesterday too, came with a little E-Series badge ... watched it with the boys last night.
Every single person they saw I got "who is he ... do you know him"
Every single car they saw I got "is that Peter Brock"
My only disappointment was that it seemed to be 1/3rd the story of HSV and 2/3rds the history or HRT. Still ... not a bad watch.

2/3rds HRT ... I'm in. Even though they lost my support after treating one of their longest paying and most dedicated members very, very poorly at Bathurst I'm still a paying member until Feb the fact is I'll never be able to walk away from my team because I love their influence on the road spec HSV.
That said Toll HSVDT are looking good lol :yup:
and apparently will be available to the public later this week. I dont know if I should say this or not but I came across many copies 2 weekends ago at JB Hi Fi (whever the Tassie round of V8 Supercars was on ... yeh 2 weekends back). Reason I havent picked it up is because the relos dont know what inexpensive but thoughtful gift to buy for xmas ....

Yes, funny how Holden documentaries seem to ignore all the issues you want them to cover and hit you in the face with facts you never cared about. The free DVD that was handed with last month's Wheels magazine went on and on and on about crash testing, computer imaging and pyrotechnics at the launch and had only one shot of the SS at WOT with good audio, but no commentary. There was nothing in it that made you think "geez I didn't know that".
