I just noticed that when i go to start my car and its dark, every other light on the dash comes on but theres no light around the key hole. Can anyone confirm that their key hole lights up?

Just had a look, and yes the ring around the key hole lights up a blueish white colour....

Same (and the window switches light up red aswell). My light were on when I turned it on this morning so I don't know if that makes a difference

Just had a look at my car now, everything lights up except the key hole. I even turned on the headlights and it still didnt light up.:vpo:
The only reason i noticed this is because in the dark it is very hard to find the key hole, and i had a look around the key hole and there is a white ring around it which suggests that there has got to be a light under there.
ill get it fixed when i go and pick up my rims, dvd headpones and remote and V8 badges.
I still have the uncertainty of whether the rear dvd screen works, just waiting on the headphones and remote to test that one.

You don't need the remote to operate the rear DVD screen. You just need to use the button on the DVD unit.

Just an idea, but maybe it happens when the interior roof lights are turned off. Check if the are on or set for door..... may not help but worth a try.

Yeah I get freak'n confused with the interior lights for some reason. Mine did not work when the interior light switch was off. Id sometimes find when I turn on the interior light and close and lock the car the light stays on. Anyway pissant stuff i spose, but none the less annoying. :)

Well done Glenn, you solved it bud,
I turned the interior roof light to the on at doors open position and when the interior light comes on the key hole light works...
Pretty stupid that it doesnt work 100% of the time, but at least we know how to make it work now.
