Last night at approx 7.15pm, a white VX / VY Clubby or Clubby mockup lost it entering Warringah Road from Pittwater Road slamming drivers side into a power/light pole drivers side (on the left side of the road, so yes they were facing the wrong way. Looked to be decent hit, and this morning I noticed how hard they hit the kerb, as there is a decent chunk or concrete missing. Also, the marks are clear to see how they have ended up doing what they have. Either planted it in the turn left only lane, or went in way to hot, and lost the back end round, and being a steep incline, the car didnt do much else once it swapped ends then proceeded to slam into the pole.
Does anyone on here know the driver/vehicle? Does anyone know if they are a member?
I hope know one was seriously injured.

Heading north up Pittwater Road turning left up Warringah Road (as you say a fairly steep incline) it is hard to imagine how he could have ended up hitting the drivers side on the outside (southern) side of the road especially as there was no rain last night at that time.
Maybe he hit a car coming straight through on the intersection from Harbord Road who shunted his car and spun it around - or was he the only vehicle involved?
Right around the corner from me and i didnt even know about it. Mind you i never turn onto warringah rd from Pittwater rd these days, i find it quicker to go up past KFC and turn on from Red Rooster in Narraweena.

Single car - when I went past the car was still basically against the poll on the south side of Warringah Road (car facing east), and this morning on the way to work, I noticed some black marks(drift/sliding - not skids) coming out from the left turn lane on Warringah Road. When I saw it last night, I said to the mrs, howd the hell did they manage that! But I was clearer once I saw the marks.
