Hi All

I tried searching for some info on the suspension settings on the VE but couldn't find anything concrete.

I wanted to ask the VE owners SV6,SS,SSV, Calais etc that have not had their cars lowered whether they have seen a drop in the suspension of their cars.

As we all know the Commodore looks a little high and I was looking at getting it lowered however I was speaking to someone on the weekend who has an SS and has done 1500km and asked him whether he had his car lowered as it seems lower than usual.

He said he had not touch it but had found that it had settled around 3/4 of an inch since new.

I wanted to ask whether you guys have also found the same. He believes it will still come down a little more over time.

Your thoughts please, Thanks

Hi Eddie,
I found that my E series Clubsport settled about 10 mm in the first 1200klms,I have now had it lowered slightly (about another 12mm )using Pedders springs, not had any problems with clearance as yet and the ride is still good.

The demo's at our dealership with a few kays on them have settled in nicely and now the rear wheels pretty much fill the space.

Good to hear my major concern in the front though. Was at a deaker on saturday and saw someone take one for a spin and the front just lifts up sooo much when you accelerate off the line....and I'm not talking WOT
