View Full Version : Difference between a LS2 and a L76?
They tell me that a L76 engine is an old truck engine (IZUZU) and a LS2 is a corvette engine.... Is this true and what is the true difference? is it the same engine block?

Definitely not correct! If you do a search (see "Search this Forum" about half way down the right side of the main General Automotive page) you will find that the L76/L98 (effectively the same motor) is regarded by some as a better proposition than an LS2 with minor enhancements.
