I came across a fellow last night who had some pretty interesting gauges fitted in his VZ SS.

These guages were in the conventional position on the dash but they weren't the usual analogue type gauges, instead they had an LCD display. The LCD display matched the radio screen and the climate control screen perfectly.

He had the Tyre pressure monitoring system in one and the volts/oil pressure in the other.

I am going to get a few photos asap and I'm going to approach him for prices for a bulk buy on these gauges.

I know the tyre pressure monitoring system is in the $1200 region with everything included, but I'm unsure about the other systems.

If people are interested in this, could they let me know, and in the mean time, Ill get some piccies up for your perusal.

I forgot to mention that these kits he's making includes all the wiring harnesses etc. They are like OEM and its a straight plug and play option.

I will also find out if the gauges are available separately for those that already have the gauge kits fitted.

Grant do you know if the volts/oil one was a scangauge (ie reading from the OBDII bus)? I have the aeroforcetech ones which are LCD display and dont need any harnesses etc. Can cycle through 20 things to monitor, just needs power and OBDII connection. Sounds like these might be the next iteration of these scangauges.

Found out a little more today. The fella I spoke to is contracted to manufacture the wiring harnesses for these products and hence doesnt sell the product as a complete Kit.
I did however find who does.

I believe there is a sensor strapped to each of the center of the four rims. This sensor then sends a wireless signal to the gauge which enables you to tell if your pressure is correct or not.

Yes, they do look good, well done!
When this post was first posted I contacted the manufacturer to purchase a set and when I saw the price I
I went with the Aeroforce gauges in the end.

I found out you can get the gauge pod from holden without the standard gauges for $80
Had the system in for a few months and luv it!
Yesterday the smarttire alarm when off and the LCD gauge flashes red.My left hand front tyres air pressure was low.
Works a treat.

Do a search "Fitting VZ Monaro Binnacle Gauges" and check out page 6, I wrote more about the gauges.
