Hi all!!!
I've just found out my Mechanic has retired, which is a royal pain in the ass, as he was a family friend, did good work, and charged me about half the going rate. I put off getting some work done, now I'm regretting it.
So if anyone can recommend a good mechanic or workshop in Perth(north or south), as I need to get my brakes done, one of my cats appears to be knackered, and my O2 sensors may be shot....or the cats may be causing the problems, not really sure.
Cheers

Mitch & Deb at WA Performance.. forum sponsor too.
They do a great job, honest with a no B/S approach and have some very quick LS1's under their belt.
Check them out. They're in Leederville

I know a guy who is really good at general mechanic stuff.. he does all my regular servicing and has done for a while now, uses whatever oils/fluids you want and doesnt charge like a wounded bull !!

I would also say The Crew @ WA Performance.
Both of our V8's get all their work done there and have nothing but the very best service & customer care.

I might have a chat to WA Performance then, in fact I might just dump the car on them and let them troubleshoot for me ;)

Ended up heading to Wa Performance. Was very pleased with the result, turned out the car only had a minor problem with the throttle.
Highly recommended, they are very upfront and honest and know their Holdens. Nothing worse than calling a workshop and have them ask if your SS is a V6 or V8.

yep hate it when ya get the 'is yours ss an 8 or a 6'?....also hate the following q after you tell them its a VX and an 8 - all you get is it a 5 litre or a gen 3?
