Luv your work Curtis... great day all round, totaly enjoyed doing the parade lap, was great fun, we had Dean Canto in the back of our ute, he came up and said nice to meet you boys as the ute was sitting there idling, he said what have you done to this as he noticed a bit of lumpyness, answered back 7lt race built stroker, look on his face was priceless

Funny that, considering it's made by http://www.walkinshawperformance.com.au/wp/default.asp :D

pretty sure that was featured in a recent steet machine commodores mag. think it got a big cam and the 6/71. doesnt make heaps of power due to high intake temps.

Dunno but it had a good stereo for people that are driving in the car behind lol
Im pretty sure you would find a heap of info on this ute at the VicStreet Utes forum. ;)

Its Brett Fields ute... He is the Sales Manager at Barloworld Holden in Glen Waverley.... Looking at the size of the pulley on the supercharger im tipping he isnt running much boost. Looks the part though but he should have left the blower hanging out the bonnet

They're AMG's cant remember the name off the top of my head. I do know they no longer make them in 20s though!

From the story in the mag it not intercooled as he is worried about the height that it sticks out, as intercooling it will add 3 inches either way it looks tough:driving:

I was at Phillip Island for the race on Sunday in a corporate box on pit roof above Siromet Wines team drinking as much free piss as I could. A few of the Holden utes that went down pit lane had pretty bumpy idles. Sounds awesome with a cam and an exhaust. My main focus was on the Batercard girls standing in the back of the utes though.

It was even better looking out the back window of the ute at the Batercard girl in the back. LOL

When the guy in the white ute with the blower started to drive in the pits for the parade lap Steven Richards and the grid girl in the back fell over. Steve was not impressed he got up and give the driver a mouthfull then he and the girl got out and Steve stormed off. The ute did not get to be part of the parade lap. Did anyone else see this? My thoughts are maybe this ute might be a bit of a pig to drive and was proberly not suited to do this.

Yeah unfortunatly for FIELDY "who organised the whole day for us", because we were sitting idling in the pits for so long, the heat made the butterflys on the intake jam so when he went to drive off "its an auto" the accelarator was jammed so he pushed a little harder and they opened up and she launched forward leaving Steven Richards and the grid girl to do some sort of circus act in the back of the ute, they wern't happy at the time but everyone kissed and made up later on.
