how do you see your post count? I want to post images and can't yet.

thanks for that, i have posted 12 new threads and still cant post images. i want to post images of the headers i'm making for the crewman.

You're probably trying to use "attachments" rather than images. No users are allowed to use the attachment feature regardless of post count.

Just host your image somewhere and use the image tags
e.g. insert web address of hosted picture here

Resize your pics so they are maxium 1024x768 but 800x600 is better.

I personally use MS Office Picture Manager (part of office 2003, but you may have to force XP to use it as your default).

Then chose "edit pictures" button (top) then "compress" (right), then chose "document". Then make sure you SAVE AS (else you overwrite the original!!!). Give it a name you will recognise in a directory you can find.

The open explorer (or what ever you use) and click this link:

(Note this facility is provided by "Cainer" for use by forum members, seek his permission if you want to post images outside of LS1).

Then before you do anything else save it to your favorites so you can use it again in future.

Now click "browse" and find your picture (directory and name). Click upload.
When it finishes it will give you a link. Highlight and copy that.

Now create a new reply and use the "insert image" button (yellow postage stamp looking one).

Repeat for as many pics as you have (I think the forum limit per reply is 30), then hit "Submit Reply".
