I thought I'd post up another positive experience with Gary at Chev's.

Late last week I had a problem with my fuel pump - very noisy and the car was losing power.

I PM'd Sonny who was on the forum at the time and he pointed me towards a solution.

I also PM'd Gary on Saturday night (I saw him lurking on the forum) and we arranged to get my car in for a fuel pump change on Wednesday.

I went in and in no time he had the tank out, old pump out - which appeared to have some rusty/contaminated crud present, then on went the newy.

All the while my two girls were drawing all over any piece of paper they could lay their hands upon in his office, as well as interjecting regularly. (Chev - next time the girls are in, they'll expect to see the Xmas card block-mounted! :))

When it was discovered that the replacement pump was more expensive than he had originally quoted, he rang the supplier and asked them to sharpen their pencil, which they did.

At the end, Gary charged a VERY reasonable amount for the job and away I went.

Your service and professionalism are a true credit, thanks mate!

Cheers,

Macca

Gary at Chev's, going all the way to Guadalcanal to fix yr fuel pump.... truly outstanding service!!!!

And I thought arriving at Marrano's at 4pm on the Friday before Christmas and Sonny and the boys performing a full 80K service for me before closing down, was outstanding service.

Macca, looks like he's a keeper..... better hang onto him!!!!! :D

(Seriously, it's nice to hear you've been looked after. We have some great forum sponsors, make sure we look after them!!!)

I too can swear by Gary...

Friday arvo 4.15pm Christmas weekend my radiator warning lamp came on.... (had noticed a pink puddle in the garage that morning but everything look ok under the bonnet.

Ring Holden service Closed till Wednesday, ring another workshop... Closed till Wednseday... :cussing: :cussing:

Ring Gary....

Me: "Gary I know its chrissy weekend and all but....."

Gary: "Bring it in in the morning (Saturday) we'll have a look at it".

End result....

Radiator was pulled out and sent to one if his mates repair service, repaired and refitted in 3 hours.. also found 2 worn drive belts which he replaced while there.

My 6yo was updating us constantly on the tv happenings all the while as well.

In a word...

LEGEND

Gary is awesome, professional service, knows his stuff and all round nice guy.

BUT dont go to him coz if you do he'll be too busy to service my needs and the other existing overly satisfied customers...:hide:

Thanks GARY!!!!

I have to say the same as above, always makes sure the car is good when leaving the workshop, explains everthing he has done, and I am always happy when leaving, the best thing is my missus is happy to take our car there without feeling like she is just being treated like an idiot. Will always be taking our cars there!
