 today when i was trying to log on at my work computer i was continually asked for my user name and password even though i was already shown as being active on the user summary.
it wasnt until i tried to go into my yahoo mailbox that i was notified there was a problem with my cookies.
does anyone know how to check this and or to rectify it..  :bawl:

Rob,
If your work uses a Telstra ISP they were playing up this afternoon. That may be cause of your problem.
See what happens tomorrow.

As Haroc says, Tools>Internet Options>Privacy
If you work for a company that has a firewall you sould be okay with lowering your internet security level.
Try medium or low settings...
I have mine set to medium high without any problems also I set up my profile to remember me when I open the ls1 page automatically from my work PC.
Hope this helps,
Dan

Why not just set cookies to Prompt? Then you get notified that someone is trying to lodge a cooky, you can check to see who it is, if its a cooky for LS1 accept it if its a cooky for someone don't. Or do if you want to be on a list. You can set cookies by going to Internet options, security, and run down the list of stuff you want to accept. Probably you now have it set to disable cookies, there are a lot of sites including this one that need to have cookies accepted to work, you can accept them manually.
