I really like the look of the new ve ss so my VY SS is up for sale to fund for the upgrade.

Vehicle: HOLDEN COMMODORE VY SS

Built: May 2003

Body: Sedan

Colour: Silver

Transmission: Manual 6-speed

Kilometres: 51,000

It's got tinted windows, ss mats and full Holden dealer service history and 4 yrs left of extended dealer warranty.

Everything else is stock standard except for the following:

* vyii ss strut brace as all late model VYSS's have strut brace bolts already welded in.
* vyii ss leather sport profile steering wheel (ie with the thump lump)
* vz ss manual gear knob and boot.

There is NO towbar so the body and engine are very tight, just like brand new.
I've never driven it hard and I'm not into track work or dyno pull stuff.

I'm asking $26,800 but like everything else in life, the price is negiotable!

may be interested as this seems a very good car for the $$$ and the 4yr extended warrenty is always a nice bonus, does that warrenty have a km limit? I have a buyer interested in my ute for simular money so if that goes through ill give you a call!

There is a limit on the warranty kms. I think it's 175,000 kms.

Hi , is this a Holden Certified Warranty if so ,as far as i know they are usually not transferable ..Cheers

It's not a HCW but a warranty from the Holden dealer where I bought the car from. I'll check with the dealer on the transferable part.

The car is still for sale.
Also I've checked with the dealer. Their warranty is not transferable so it's similar to a Holden certified warranty on that part.
Something that I totally forgot until I yesterday when I opened the boot first and the car alarm went off. It's got a factory car alarm!

Price is now reduced by a further $1000.

The new price is $24,800.

Just got the Pedders boys to perform a full 4 wheel alignment, balanced and rotation. That's $165.
Alignment and balance is done every 6 months (got all receipts) to keep the tyres even. The car drives and handles even better now.

These commodores depreciate like crazy. B-(<

I just got an evaluation info from Redbook today and boy do they decpreciate!!!

Howdy EMCtriple,

Yup. the car is still 4 sale. Got a few low $20k's offers though mostly through email or over the phone.
I think thats pretty good feedback given the car is only listed here.

The odo clock just ticked over to 58,000 kms now.

I can email some high-res pics of the car 2 u if want to check it with a fine comb.

The price again is $24,800.

Got a good trade in price for the car, $23.5K. VE SS on the way.
