I'm on the ball today :lmao:
Seeing as my idea of lunch somewhere got shot down due to the fact everywhere will be busy, how bout this for an idea?
Bells Line of Road cruise to Bathurst?
spend the Aussiest Day with a pack of V8 Commodores thundering around you.
Leave the Information Center carpark at 9am opposite the RAAF base.
Arrive at the Mount around 11ish, do some laps, get some pics and for those who havent been up yet to say farewell to Brocky add your message to the wall.
For the keen, depending on weather, there can be a walk around, a feat I did last year. Took 2 hours at a very snails pace but its well worth it, you really do get a better understanding of the track. Failing this I might suggest we find a quiet park around town (if one exists) and play a game of backyard cricket, perhaps even at the track in the area where they setup the merchandise trucks and tents, or at the top in McPhillamy park or somewhere like that.
Head back home once your done!
Hows this sound for a plan? Only issue is lunch, but if I say "sort yourself out" then there shouldnt be any dramas, should there?
Let me know who would be interested, if theres enough serious interest (say 8 to 10 cars) I'll plan something more solid, otherwise we'll let it go.
