HI Guys, i am wondering if anyone can help me,I just traded my Flame CV8 Monaro (series 1) on a E series R8 in ignition colour, I am wanting to upgrade the interior to leather in a black with orange inserts combination, i was reccomended to visit Blackmans in Melbourne, the guys there were very helpfull but could only help me with a black /red combination as supplied in GTS, I just dont think the red will go with the ignition exterior, which is why i am tring to find some one who can supply orange leather, similar to the series one Monaro. Does anyone have any ideas?, or had any experiences with Blackmans in Melbourne?.

Very strange that they couldn't do the colour combo you wanted - maybe they can't get hold of leather in the colour required???? Assuming you went to the 'main' Blackmans in Moorabbin there is also another one (one of the sons I believe) on the Mornington Peninsula somewhere. My daughter's fiance had his new car done there recently and the job was very good. It was bought from Bourke's in Berwick so if you don't know where the son is go in and ask there.
Apparently his work is reputed to be as good as the main Blackmans but is a little cheaper. Blackmans have an excellent reputation and do cars for many dealers and makes including top of the line.
We use Blackman and sons in brisbane all the time... they always do a great job... I agree I wouldn't put red leather in an ignition car

Thanks guys for all of your help, I too, bought my car from Barry Bourkes in Berwick, they are a oustanding Dealership, Darren Bourke himself is always ready to assist in anyway he can. I will followup both trimmers mentioned in Thomastown and the Mornington penninsula and let you know how I get on, i think the ignition exterior with Black/ orange interior should look awsome! if anyone has photos of Clubbie's with leather interior i would love to see them!
thanks again

The other alternative is to price genuine ignition leather, but you might want a friend in the trade to make it affordable.
