What happens when you have a LS2 Block with L92 heads and L76 Inlet manifold........

Note: interesting feedback on the L76 Manifold and guess where they had to get it from!?

Happy Reading!

Our L76 and L98 engines use an LS2 block, L92 heads and L76 intake. Just goes to show the potential of these engines with a decent cam!

You LS1'rs need to learn to listen. Our WA friend, Mr HOWQUICK told us about this quite some months ago.

So do these L92 heads and L76 manifold bolt on to the LS1 block or is this solely for the LS2 builds?

The L92 heads have 2.165 intake and 1.590 inch exhaust valves

They require at least a 4.00 inch bore for clearance.

Ls1 = 3.89 in (99mm) bore
Ls2 = 4.00 in (101.6mm)bore

So no go for the ls1 block ,unless you sleeve it .

These L92 heads are top shelf flowing @.600 332 cfm intake and 190 cfm ex !
