As the title suggests my car is making a moaning/groaning noise at low speeds, when turning and when braking from low speed. I was thinking maybe the powersteering pump?
Also i think it's worse when the air con is on. I was in a car park earlier today with the air con on and when i was driving around looking for a park i was hearing it quite a bit.
Anyone one have any ideas B4 i book it in for holden to look at? Air-con realted or steering related? Any other cause?
Cheers guys

As BLU50L mentioned - you might like to fill it up with fluid and see if its something as simple as a blown hose.

Probably slightly overfiling the resevious wouldn't hurt as it doesn't seem to need the level to drop much before the pump cavitates.

This quote will never be forgotten.

Regarding the groaning/moaning problem, i only get it when i have bodies in the boot. I mean..umm..*runs*

Try tightening the hose clamps on the power steering lines. They can suck air in at the connections which causes the pump to groan. Check the clamps down near the cooler as well.
