HRT VE Livery

Hey all
Saw this over on the biante forums looks like this may be what the 2007 livery will be like, similar orange/red as to brockys vk's
i can't post links yet but,
head over to biante forums and it's under "v8 rumours and gossip" page 17 - hopefully someone else can link it ;)
i'll reserve my opinion until i see it closer i think

It looks different, but the picture is so tiny, it is hard to see detail. Looks like the logo on the side is further up the car though.

Looks like it has the E-Series HSV vents on it. It might be a road going mock up with this years paint job on it.

I think the pics were taken with a Phone. Apparently it is the 2007 HRT promo car (GTS wheels?) as it has Skaife and Toddler's name on the window.

Thanks for posting pic Rick76, the designer of this years car said (on biante forums)

Well there's alot of black on the car and he didnt really admit or deny thats the livery so - wait and see. I do believe the red this year is going to more orange just the photo makes it look pink - probably due to phone camera as someone said

Why would HRT have a promo HSV car? Wouldnt it be a VE Commodore SS?

I would think the HSVDT would have the HSV promo car not HRT.

Maybe it's the HSVDT promo car and not HRT's.

Anyway.... look's a little mish, mash to me. I'll hope we stick with the red ,it is the 21st century afterall.

That pic dosen't show much except that is a promo car and very average logo. I hope that is not the color, RED is the color of HRT, any way regardless of the color I think Skaife will be back to his dominating best and Todd not far behind.

Actually HRT were black and white, and also dark blue and white back in the Telstra Mobilenet sponsorship days and after.

Front wheels must come forward (its like its got buck teeth), rear wheels much go back, and the wheels need to be 5/7 spoke, not 360 spoke

Otherwise, its nice :thumbsup:

PS. But yeah the over hand at the front doesn't go well with the car. It is a shame it is really a VZ with VE panels!

But also remember why it looks so weird.

They had to be shortened from the road going version, which is the biggest load of %*@%*@%@ ever.

Kind of like when the holdens had to be weighed down because ford couldnt keep up, then the BA came out and it was quicker and the ban wasnt lifted off holden...

Now this crap of it having to be shorter because FORD wont bring out their new race version till 2008??
