I'm trying to answer questions that have been placed in our private message box but unfortunately I keep getting told I cannot return a message until I have placed 10 posts. Can these posts be on your own thread or do they have to be on someone else's?

But shouldnt being a sponsor overide this. They have paid to be here so PM should be available straight away i would think.

Mmm, I agree, maybe a small hiccup in the forum set-up, but;

Sure-Shift - why not transpose them into the LS1 Powertrain Technical forum (names deleted), by starting a new 'Transmission Question (or similar)' thread with each problem and addressing each in a separate post to get the count up?

Cheers,

Macca

All a sponsor needs to do is email moderators (http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/sendmessage.php) telling us the problem and we can update the count to allow PM's

It is a limitation of the software (add-on) that is currently in use to control this. It is a forum wide setting not a group based one. As Kris stated if it is overlooked by myself when setting up mailing the moderators will rectify this. Sure-Shift you should be good to go now...

Thanks for that sidewindr (has anyone told you lately that you're kinda cute? no! That surprises me). I appreciate all your help, I haven't tried it yet but I'm going there now so we'll see how it goes.

Thanks to everyone for all your helpful suggestions. :thumbsup:

Your spam tonight isnt going to help you. Its REALLY helps for your posts to make sense and actually relate to the thread itself. Im tipping you might be on holidays soon.
