It makes you think how much research & development also trialing and erroring goes into the engine developing stage. Like they mentioned they had to allow 7mm excess casting to allow shrinkage as the alluminimin (however you spell that) has after cooling down.
Scary stuff.
Must have been some smartarses back in the late 1800s when the engine blocks were first made.

Cool Stuff,

I wonder which engine company this movie was made in.

The Holden plant at elizabeth has some ABB robots in bodyshop were they frame the ute , crewman and wagon and former coupe.
