hey guys.
i was commin home from work the other day and i noticed that every time i got to 100-110 and put it in 6th the car started to get really bumpy and the steering wheel started to shake a bit.

but it would stop as soon as i went under 100 and back in 5th.

any one got any ideas.

cheers

IN some instances when you get feedback/vibration in the steering wheel at speed, it mean your wheels are out of balance. Could be a quick and simple solution here.

Seconded.

Maybe one of the balancing weights has fallen off one of your wheels, just get a reputable tyre place to balance your wheels.

Only other thing would be if a tyre has a bit of a flat spot (from being locked up... ;) ), that will give a nasty vibration.

mine had somethign like that happening. Used to only get it on the freeway at speed. All the alignment and balancing was fine. When i had my car in for a service Mitch at WA Performance found the engine mounts were cactus. No more vibrations once they had been replaced. maybe check that out.
