i am confused with the different type of B&M Shifters i have to choose from.
i have a vxss.
HELP, which one should i choose????

was reffering to what transmission but just read your post on sure shift post. im running the std A4 shifter (unmodified) with a reverse manual t400. 1st slams to 2nd just like a ratchet and cant go into 3rd. then to hit 3rd you push down on the button and slam back down. very easy and fast. its like it was made for it.
for the neutral safety to work, need to be creative you can make brackets off the sump to bolt on the 'black box' from the 4l60E and mod the shaft so it runs through the black box and then you have the dash lights and neutral safety just like you did with the A4. neat huh.... :)

lol. If a trans shop doin the install then they should be able to rig up the above. I put the idea out there so ppl know you dont have to run an aftermarket shifter to run a 400 as long as its reverse pattern. The interior doesnt have to be touched. If I find time I may take a in car vid of me hitting the gears to show how good it works and while there do a demo for youtube as I need new tyres.
