G'day All,
The missus got the front bar of our SS caught on one of those concrete things they put at the end of parking spots today..
She said it popped out on the sides but she popped it back in...
While there doesnt appear to be any damage the bar is slightly out of alinement and a touch loose now can somebody let me know how I tighten it back up.. DO I need to take the bar off, if so can you tell me how to do it can you also keep the instructions simple as Im hopeless when it comes to doing stuff..
cheers,
Wayne

Usually once the guides on the sides are disturbed, they need replacing, as the bar keeps popping slightly out of them. They are about $14 each side.
Wayne, I do the same thing all the time and it drives me up the wall.
It depends on if the clips under the headlights are damaged. If they are not to bad then it should pop back on with a little "Palm" strike with your hand.
Check the screws on the bar that attach at the guard near the wheel, there should be two or three. If they are there then its all good. I find they come loose easy that shites me too.
If they are loose tighten them and if missing I suggest going to "Bunning Speed shop" :lmao: to get some similar ones.
Good luck mate.
Troy

I've looked at the bar and there is maybe a half cm gap between the lights and top of the bar now.. Also I am mssing a screw on the left hand side...
Do I have to take the bar off to fix it..
Your welcome mate :stick:
Without photos, I cant say, there are little mounting points near the lights and towards the guard, make sure the Bar is clipped onto them.
Like I said above, a firm hit/push with the palm of your hand will put it back on.
As for the screw, youll need to get more.
Troy :)

Id take the bar off to cheack the slides and front clips for damage.
Easy job that shoudnt take more than 10mins.
At least by taking it off, you can
1. eliminate any damage and
2. put it back on with the correct alignment
