i know its early but im like a 6 year old at xmas. 4 days with no rules except drink hard and have fun.

whos the tip for the win? tough call this year, as much as i want lowndes to win, i reckon my money is on skaifey, aslong as his car problems are sorted.

Yes the annual ritual!!

Into the circuit early, track down to outside Turn 8 to see who's got balls (and exchange "pleasantries" with a visitor from Victoria who is one-eyed Ford), move on into the support paddock to kick some tyres, then down to inside Turn 9 to see who is "on song" then over to the outside Barry Sheene Stand to look at the culture, do some gargling and watch the race activities!!!!

Same sort of ritual since 1985!!!!

Hey guys, I have a little inside goss. My mate went into the track for a bit of a looksy. Then the big black V8SC b-double rolls in, he watches them unload the 2 Chrysler sedan saftey cars sounding their usual best. But then they roll out the Wagon version all dressed up and with the nice sounding exhaust too. My mate starts going camera happy when the trucker spots him and jokingly tells him "don't do that this hasn't been seen by anyone yet, but its's not me you should be worried about it's the big guy driving it". Quickly it's parked into a blacked out fenced area behind the pits.

Also I have seen a VE SS course car at a sign-witing place on churchill rd all painted up in clipsal 500 guise - looked tops :thumbsup: sorry no photo, it was dark.

Sorry dont know but you could email one of the girls from Bods and babes and find out. they put it on every year.

they hold several throughout the day. best part of having the gold pass i reckon.

Sorry M8te, after the last posting that I did this mornin, I crashed out sleeping. I had to catch the flight to get down SA way!
You would be suprised at how Alice has grown in 10 years ;)
They are even opening up a Gloria Jeans coffee shop soon (WHATEVER)!!!:p
