How do you post a thread so the 'thanks button' appears on the bottom of it. I asked this question some time ago but no replies. Anyone know?

Looks to me like it automatically appears in certain threads eg. sponsors' threads and if it doesn't appear elsewhere there's no option to make it do so. Hope I'm wrong.......

As far as I can tell, the thanx button only exists in technical, help & feedback, and sponsor forums and not general topic forums, classifieds etc...

I reckon it appears in all threads in the technical forums, the Forum Help and Feedback and in sponsors threads like Wonky said.
There seems to be no thanks button in the General automotive area, the tar pit and the Your ride part. I could be wrong though...

The thanks button appears on all forums that count towards your post count.
The forums that don't count are listed here: http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/faq.php?faq=vb_read_and_post#faq_postcount

Now people just need to make sure they post in the correct sections :P .... (I had to move this thread out of General Automotive)

Thanks Aussie Tone, I was going to post a thread asking the same question, I'm glad I did as a noob should and :search:

Also I was going to post a new thread in the Multimedia section about the VE burnout in his driveway, noticed the button to check weather it had already been posted and "bingo" already here. Great little feature that. :teach:
