View Full Version : Question for all VE fleet car drivers

Prior to the release of the VE there was some talk about fleet managers having access to information about all their fleet cars...

Things like:-
*Driving patern
*Fuel consumption
*Location
*Speed
Etc.....

Has anyone heard anything from their fleet manager regarding this? Has anyone be warned or anything of that sort?
I've had a VE Omega company car for over 6 months now and i drive it like i stole it but have not heard anything from anyone. ;)

If anyone has had any experience with this yet, i'd love to hear from you.

It's called FleetView and from memory was about a $1,200 option, so you probably haven't got it. In fact I have a feeling it wasn't to be available till well after VE release so even if they wanted it on yours it was probably too early.

About a month after receiving our car, I heard about the monitoring system and also felt that guy stirring feeling of “…. oh $HIT.” With an increased heart rate I quickly asked whether it was fitted. Thank god its not! So back to pushing that needle up toward the redline :driving:

It's an option that can be taken up by fleet managers I believe. I haven't heard many has taken it up unless proved otherwise.

Can it be optioned by a private buyer so they can track their own information?
