Can someone explain the point of signing up to a forum designed to communicate with other people and then not being allowed to reply to a PM because a count isn't high enough...and then not having certain posts count unless they are in a certain section....very frustrating when someone PM's you and you then can't send a message back.

In the past we have had people signing up purely use our PM system to recruit members to their own forums or use it to advertise non-sponsor businesses. Unfortunately the bad eggs spoil it for everyone.

Because we had people just replying with "cool car" in a bunch of "Your Ride" threads before doing exactly what I said above.
We have changed it to only count Tech posts to reward people for contributing to the Technical discussions on the forum

Hey I found out how to use smilies...:sux:use something like photobucket to store your picks then copy the IMG tag of the pic you want to post ,one you start a thread or want to post on a thread click on the insert image icon a box will pop up top left then right click paste and voila.

to get vioalated get two poeple that can vouch for you as a stable non trouble making person (that may be hard) to send a PM to the Mod squad.
