just had my bike (cbr600r) serviced and dynoed at SBP in adelaide
they had already ported the head and dialed in a new set of cams
and it went from 105.9HPARW to 117HPARW feels like a rocket so its off to mallala for the next open day to see if my times will improve as much
thanks to Jim and Graeme for the late night friday night (9pm finish)
and hopefully my license will stay in one piece until i get to the track
is your in SA well worth a visit :yahoo:
email me if you want more details on the cam specs etc

Some nice figures there mate.
so what else have you done apart from head and cam?
Velocity stacks? quick action throttle(billet)? Reverse shift pattern? Timing advancer?
Last time i had my R6 on comp convers dyno 18mths ago was 105rwhp without head and cams.

reverse shift is pretty std if u want to do track work
my next step will be power commander ignition mapper
Im not much for quick action throttles I like the feel of the std one
its less jerky and gives me more control

Great effort,
now comes the hard part knocking off the little bits like a tenth here and a tenth there.
i wouldnt even get close to that time, havne been on my bike much in the last 12mths due to a ankle injury, makes turning a bit hard. even after 12mths it swells after a good ride through the hills.
so its an orniment in the lounge at the moment.

I know im not fast on the track, only been out once, the thought of dropping it without insurance keeps me in check.
on the road under the right conditions etc i'll open her up for fun. but i enjoyed my time at the track and cant wait to get back out there again, given the right circumstances.

OK just redialed the cams to 106 105 and it picked up some more torque threw the middle and made 118.9HP :yahoo: at the rear wheel , feels a lot stronger on the dyno but hey we all know seat of the pants in notoriously unreliable
There an open day on the 17th of march at Mallala $80 for the ride $20 for a day license.

mate with times like that you should be out there racing it, you would probably win state titles with those times and would be just outside top 10 of the aus supersport
