Hello all.

I've read a few threads concerning the HBD "panelvan" canopy that was (is still?) an option on the VU, VY, VZ utes and was interested in owner's opinions of the canopy after owning their "panelvans" for a while.

Information I'm chasing include squeaks and rattles, fit of the canopy since installation and general "wear and tear" of the canopy since new?

Great forum and thanks in advance for your help

I love it mate. I've had no problems at all with the canopy, and since it's open to the back from the cabin, it's great being able to access through and have the speakers and sub in the back too.

Fittment wise, it's straight as, and no shifting, and has added stiffness to the chassis. I only wish would be to have remote locks on the tailgate and window like the front cabin doors, instead of manual.

If I didn't have to lug around equipment, I would have liked to have had the tub fully carpeted. All up though, I theink the design is great and has the most practicle and usable capacity.
Cheers.

Since when did the canopis have through access to the rear?

I thought this was one of the few complaints, and 'not possible' due to structural strength issues?

Did HBD revise the design??

Thanks for the feedback. Rang Holden today and a salesman I spoke to said they don't build them anymore despite the option still being shown on the website. Oh well...........
