I have just got back from picking up some oil for the HT at Tim Slako's in Osborne Park.
Wow... has he got some cars coming together. Namely a Green GTS which is having a LS7 fitted.
You wanna see this thing.
Anybody know if this car belongs to a member?
cheers

No sorry. Motor was not in it. Looked like it wasn't too far from being fitted though. He also had a twin supercharged LS1 in a older GTS. I think a VR/S model.
Both car look like the complete sleepers

Howquick's done a few ls7 transplants allready, namely 1 red vy ute that's allready ran a 10 in a run down test.

I'm very happy with the GTO, but if there was one thing I would consider, that would be, dropping an LS7 into the engine bay. Don't think the A4 would like it much,---but, you never know!
Cheers, Pickles.

I have heard a rumour during the week that HSV could be building later this year 100 x 7L GTS for sale at $140,000.00 each.

LOL, why?

talk about a mark up. you could buy an ls7 yourself and get it fitted cheaper then that and still have a spare engine.

Hmm okay I think 140,000 dollars is a bit rude for a Holden.

Sorry guys but back in topic.
The HSV bringing out a LS7 thing has been done to death in another thread.
I was just sharing with you all something I saw being built today and was wondering if it may be a members car.

Was this a green VX GTS... if so I may have an idea who it belongs to. I know some one in the Roleystone/Karragullen area who has two VX GTS's. Both these cars have had a fair bit of work done at Slakos previously so I wouldnt be surprised if it was this guys green gts.

Thats the one mate. A british racing green one.
I can't remember exactly as we were talking about 2 cars while we where there but I'm sure this thing will be supercharged aswell.

I've been told Peter Dichiera from CSV has an ls7 in his VE GTS.

The VX has tt's bolted to the side of the LS7.
The VS is a twin supercharged 383 holden with 3-400hp of NOS to be switched yet.
I dont think the owner of the VX is a Member.
